How to Play

Start by placing your 21 Duel Blackjack ante bet – to do this, click on the chip value of choice and then click on your preferred bet area on the table. You can hit the Undo button if you make a mistake, or you can decrease your bet amount by right clicking on the chips you’ve placed on the board. Once your ante is in place, the dealer will give you two cards; one will be showing face up and the other will be face down. The dealers also receives his cards – two showing face down. Next, two community cards will be dealt face up in the middle of the table. These cards are for players and the dealer to use to try and improve their hand. You can choose to Fold – which means you lose your ante - or can play the game. To continue with a community card, you need to pay an additional wager. You then Hit to show your face down card or Stand to discard it. If your hand total exceeds 21, you lose instantly. Otherwise, it’s the dealer’s turn to play.

Winning & The 2 Up side bet

The 21 Duel Blackjack dealer must have a point total of 13 to be able to play; if he does not, you win your ante bet instantly and any additional bets are returned to you. If the dealer qualifies, your hand and his hand are compared and you win if your hand is the stronger of the two. The 2 Up side bet is an extra bet that is completely independent of what happens to your ante; the wager is on your face up card and the community cards making a pair (pays 3:1) or three of a kind (pays 20:1).
